Morphica is a clean and functional ecommerce site. All the design elements are understated and white space is used to great effect in order to give the large product images maximum impact. These images are also cropped beautifully on category pages… konomashii!

Like so many web app companies, Transmissions’ website for their ‘Logbook’ application is heavily influenced by Apple’s design. However, their site is black and shinier. I particularly like the use of icons and the chunky ‘subscribe’ element at the bottom of the homepage.

June Cloud’s website showcases their talents in web design and development (and the lovely illustrations of Holly Tickner). I love the character illustrations (roll over them!), tight headings and colour schema. Look ma! No boring footer!

Cream Scoop’s website is a simple 5-page XHTML/CSS site that demonstrates their design and development talents beautifully. The colour scheme is great and the site also showcases some wonderful illustrations from Simon Oxley. I like robots too.

I stumbled upon Kyan’s site the other day and really liked the bold blue used on the homepage - in fact the whole site is rather lovely. Roll over the homepage images for more information and search their work by category… oh, and don’t miss the worm in the footer.
